Holding the initial meeting of the storage tanks engineering department in the VCM/PVC Kourosh Complex project
Given the time-consuming nature of the design, construction, and implementation period of the tank area, Kourosh Petrochemical Industries Development Company has defined an independent project for the design, construction, and implementation of the complex’s feed and intermediate product storage tanks in order to accelerate the construction process of its VCM/PVC complex on the site of two petrochemical special economic zones.
In this regard, a tender was held to select an engineering consultant to carry out the detailed design and engineering of the storage tanks area, inviting competent consulting companies, and ultimately Petrosadian Consulting Engineers Company was selected as the selected consultant.
After the official announcement of the start of work, the project’s kick-off meeting was held on October 11, 2021, in the meeting room of Kourosh Petrochemical Company. This meeting was held with the presence of the Deputy CEO, Project Planning and Control Manager, Project Coordinator, and the engineering team of Kourosh Petrochemical Industries Development Company on the one hand, and the CEO, Project Manager, and the technical engineering team of Petrosadian Consulting Engineers Company on the other.
During the meeting, key members of the two groups were introduced, technical requirements, and project implementation priorities were reviewed. The engineering consultant also presented a report on the initial steps taken to accelerate the project design and implementation process.
At the end of the meeting, the parties emphasized the need to adhere to the approved project schedule and allocate a dedicated team (Task Force) to quickly and harmoniously advance the engineering stages.
According to the project schedule, the engineering phase of the storage tanks area will be completed within the next four months.
